Thanksgiving Coloring Pages
Our free Thanksgiving coloring pages are built around the best parts of the day: a table full of food, family squeezed around it and a moment to say thanks. Color a roast turkey on a platter, a slice of pumpkin pie, a cornucopia spilling over with squash and corn, or a fill-in page that starts with I am thankful for. Print a stack for the kids' table and the wait for dinner goes a lot faster.

What Thanksgiving is
Thanksgiving is a US holiday held on the fourth Thursday of November. It has been a national holiday since 1863, and the fourth-Thursday rule was set in 1941. Most families mark it with a big shared meal, usually turkey with stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce and pie. Many people also go around the table and name one thing they're thankful for. Canada has its own Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October.
Thanksgiving coloring pages for the kids' table and classroom
- Placemats: print a page for each seat and put a few crayons in a cup. Recycle them after dinner or keep the best ones.
- Thankful tree: color and cut out leaf shapes, write one thing you're grateful for on each and tape them to a paper tree on the wall.
- Place cards: fold a small turkey or pumpkin page in half and write each guest's name on the front.
- Gratitude chain: cut colored pages into strips, write a thank-you on each and loop them into a paper chain.
- Cards for relatives: color a page and mail it to grandparents or cousins who can't make the trip.
