What Easter is and when it falls
Easter is the most important holiday in the Christian calendar. It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus, which the Bible places on the third day after his crucifixion. Easter doesn't have a fixed date. In most Western churches it falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon of spring, which puts it somewhere between March 22 and April 25. Eggs, chicks and rabbits became part of the celebration as old symbols of new life. Many families dye eggs, fill baskets and hold an egg hunt, whether or not they go to church.

- Sunday school: pair the faith pages with the Easter story from the Gospels.
