Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Introduction

Crayon Sheet offers free printable coloring pages and AI tools that turn a photo or a written idea into a page to print and color. This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you may and may not make with those tools. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the service.

Coloring pages end up on kitchen tables and in classrooms, so everything made here has to be suitable for a general audience. There is no setting that turns our safety filters off.

What you can make

  • coloring pages, line art, stencils and paint-by-number templates from your own photos: family, pets, your home, a trip, a drawing you made;
  • original coloring pages from a written idea, such as animals, vehicles, seasons, holidays, patterns and scenes you describe;
  • coloring books, name pages and mandalas for yourself, your family, your classroom or gifts.

Photos you upload

  • Only upload photos you own or have permission to use.
  • If a photo shows other people, you need their permission. For a child, you need the permission of their parent or guardian.
  • Do not upload photos to embarrass, harass or mislead anyone, and do not upload intimate or private images of other people.

We do not keep the photo you upload: it is processed and then discarded. The pages we create from it stay in your account for 30 days so you can download them, and are then deleted automatically. Our Privacy Policy has the details.

What is not allowed

You may not use Crayon Sheet to make, or try to make:

  • adult or sexual content: nudity, explicit or suggestive material of any kind;
  • anything that sexualizes minors. We block this and may report it where the law requires;
  • graphic violence: gore, torture, or content that promotes suicide or self-harm;
  • hate and harassment: content that attacks people for who they are, extremist symbols, or content meant to bully or threaten someone;
  • other people's characters and brands: characters from movies, TV shows, games or books, logos, or other material protected by copyright or trademark. We only make original designs;
  • illegal content, or content that helps someone break the law.

You also may not try to get around our safety filters, for example with coded wording, misspellings or repeated attempts at a blocked request, or use automated tools to send requests or download pages in bulk.

How we enforce this policy

  • Written requests are screened by automated filters before anything is drawn. A blocked request does not use credits.
  • The AI models we use apply their own safety checks. If a request fails, nothing is shown and your credits are returned.
  • We may remove content and limit or suspend accounts that break this policy or repeatedly try to bypass our filters.

Automated filters are not perfect. If a harmless request was blocked, try describing your idea in different words. If you see a result that should not have been made, please tell us.

About the AI behind the service

Crayon Sheet is an independent product. It is built on third-party AI models that we access through our service providers, and it is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the companies that create those models.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. The current version is always on this page.
