Fashion Coloring Pages
Fashion coloring pages let you style a whole look: the outfit, the shoes, the bag and the hair. This set has street-style outfits with sneakers and denim, runway gowns, cozy sweater-weather looks, accessories laid out flat and blank figures called croquis that designers sketch on. Tweens, teens and adults who love clothes get the most out of them.

How to put an outfit together with color
Stylists lean on a few simple color ideas. They're worth trying on paper before you try them in the mirror.
- Monochrome. One color from head to toe, in lighter and darker shades. It always looks put together.
- Neutrals plus one. Black, white, gray, navy, beige and denim blue go with everything. Add a single bright piece, such as a red bag or yellow shoes.
- Complementary colors. Opposites on the color wheel, like blue and orange or purple and yellow, make each other stand out. Use one as the main color and the other as an accent.
- Three colors, repeated. Limit an outfit to three colors and use each one at least twice, for example in the shoes, the belt and the bag.
Different materials need different marks:
- Denim: mid blue with lighter patches on the thighs and knees, plus tiny orange-yellow dashes for the stitching.
- Leather: dark, with a few sharp white highlights.
- Knits: short curved strokes in rows to suggest the stitches.
- Sheer fabric: color very lightly and let the layer underneath show.
Fashion illustrators often leave part of a drawing uncolored, or let a loose stroke of color run outside the lines. It's a style, not a mistake, so relax.
Frequently asked questions
Are these fashion coloring pages free?
Yes. All fashion coloring pages are free to download and print for personal and classroom use.
Do you have fashion design templates I can draw on?
Yes. The template sheet shows a blank figure in a simple pose. Sketch clothes right over it, then color. There are also a blank T-shirt and a blank high-top sneaker for designing prints.
Are these fashion coloring pages for teens and adults?
Mostly, yes. The figures are stylized, and the outfits have small parts such as buttons, laces and zippers. For younger children, start with the Easy accessories pages or the dress coloring pages.
What should I use to color fashion pictures?
Alcohol markers are a favorite of fashion illustrators because they lay down smooth, even color. They bleed through thin paper, so print on card stock. Colored pencils are best for denim, knits and patterns. A white gel pen adds stitching and shine at the end.
