Anime Girl Coloring Pages
These anime girl coloring pages are drawn in the style fans know: large expressive eyes, sharp bangs, flowing hair and clean lines. Every girl is an original character, not someone from a series. You'll find school outfits, cozy hoodies, kimono, a magical heroine and tiny chibi versions, with plenty of hair to shade.

How to color anime eyes, hair and skin
Anime art uses flat color with a few sharp shadows, a look called cel shading. It's easier than realistic blending and works well with markers.
Eyes. Color the iris darker at the top and lighter at the bottom. Leave the white highlight circles uncolored, since they're what make the eyes look glossy. Add a thin shadow on the white of the eye, right under the upper lid.
Hair. Fill the hair with one base color. Then add a darker band of the same color under the bangs, behind the neck and where strands overlap. Leave a curved strip near the top of the head uncolored for the shine.
Skin. Use a pale base and one shadow tone under the chin, under the bangs and along one side of the nose. A small patch of pink on each cheek is standard.
Clothes. Choose two main colors and one accent. Put shadows on the same side of every fold.
Alcohol markers give the smoothest flat color. Colored pencils work too if you press evenly. Print on marker paper or cardstock, because thin paper bleeds. Anime hair doesn't have to be a natural color, so pink, teal and silver are all fair game.
Frequently asked questions
Are these anime girl coloring pages free?
Yes. All anime girl coloring pages are free to download and print for personal and classroom use.
Are these characters from an anime series?
No. Every character is an original design. We don't draw anyone from an existing show, manga or game, which keeps the pages free to print and share.
What is chibi style?
Chibi is a Japanese drawing style where characters are tiny and cute, with a head about as large as the rest of the body. Chibi pages have fewer details, so they're the easiest ones here.
Can I create my own anime girl coloring page?
Yes. Describe the hairstyle, outfit and pose of an original character in the AI Coloring Page Generator, such as "an anime girl with short hair and a backpack feeding a stray cat." Don't use the names of existing characters.
